Thomas “Tom” J. Pokoj, age 76, passed away Thursday September 20, 2018 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Dunkirk, New York on April 18, 1942. He was the son of the late Mary Pokoj of Dunkirk and Edward Pokoj of Melbourne, Florida. Tom lived at the Matteson Street IRA and attended the Resource Center.
He is survived by his sister Corinne Kozlowski of Zephyrhills, Florida and many nieces and nephews in Dunkirk, N.Y.
Tom is predeceased by his brother Larry Pokoj and brother in-law Leonard Kozlowski, who also died this this year.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. He will be buried near his mother at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
