Billy Will Pittman, 68, of Dunkirk, NY passed away Thursday June 30, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Billy was born June 12, 1954 in Dawson, GA, the son of Belton and Lillie (Jones) Pittman. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. An active churchman, Billy was a member of the trustee board and Sunday school teacher at the Good Hope Baptist Church. A hard working man, Billy was a member of the Laborers’ Local 210 and also worked at Cliffstar, from where he retired. Billy enjoyed reading the Bible. He was a sports fan and his favorite teams were Atlanta Braves and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Billy is survived by: his son Billy Pittman of Dunkirk, NY; granddaughter Tiona Pittman; siblings: Betty (late Willie James) Tell, Johnny (late Beverly) Pittman of Albany, GA, Larry (Patricia) Pittman of St. Petersburg, FL, Shardon Pittman of Albany, GA, Charlie Stevens of Dawson, GA and Alice Faye (late Thomas) Peters of Dawson, GA.; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loving companion Jeanette Butts
Besides his parents, Billy is predeceased by: 2 sisters: Bernice Carter (late Junior) Grier and Velva Jean (Willie) Armistad and 2 brothers: C.S. Pittman, Gary Bernard (Meredith) Pittman.
