Cynthia M. Ramos, 82, of Dunkirk, NY, passed away on Thursday March 3, 2022 at home. She was born December 15, 1939 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Cynthia and her husband Efrain raised their family in Dunkirk. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Cynthia enjoyed playing various games with her family, especially Uno, dominoes and rummy. She also enjoyed puzzle books, gardening and playing bingo. Cynthia worked at Petri Baking and Fredonia Pizza Plant and was also a talented seamstress.

Cynthia is survived by: her loving husband of 61 years, Efrain Ramos; her children: Cyndie (Carl) Barr of Clifton Park, NY, Betsy Ramos (Gerardo Lorenzo) of Dunkirk, NY and Mayra Ramos of Dunkirk, NY; grandchildren: Elizabeth McQuiggan (Christopher), Mayra Lee Maldonado, Heidi Gonzalez (Jadmel), C. Nick Barr (Victoria), Angela Goetz, Gerry Lorenzo (Jacqueline), Rebekah Rosario (Franky) and Mariah Maldonado (Joe); also 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren, and a brother Frank Mendez.

Cynthia is predeceased by her sister, Daisy Rosario and her brother, Paul Mendez.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6 pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 328 Washington St., Dunkirk on Monday morning at 10 am. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery.
