On May 10th, 2021, Demaris C. Lasch, of Fredonia, passed away after a long, full, life. She was 95 years old.

She was educated in Buffalo schools and after graduation took a job as a Long-Distance Operator for New York Telephone. During this period of her life, she met and married her husband of sixty-eight years, Herman “Bob” Lasch. They were wed on November 25th, 1948.
In 1953 she left New York Telephone and moved with her husband to the Dunkirk-Fredonia area. She would commit the rest of her life to being the best wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and caregiver she possible could.
