Obituary for Grace R. Juul (Peck)

Grace R. Juul, (Peck), 92, of Brocton, N.Y., passed away Saturday December 17, 2022 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She was born October 19, 1930 in Ripley, N.Y, daughter of the late Alfred and Blossom (Wellard) Peck. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Juul, who passed May 24, 2010. The couple was married 52 years at the time of his passing. Grace, always an energetic and active woman, was very enthusiastic about life. She enjoyed shopping, dining out and yard sales. She had a strong faith, when living in Florida she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milton, where she sang in the church choir. When living in Brocton she was a member of the Lake Erie Baptist Church. Grace was a member of the Eastern Star. Travel was always a big part of Grace’s life. With her husband and family in tow, the family traveled extensively every summer, camping in Ocean View Campground, visiting Sea Isle City, Cape May, and Wildwood, NJ. In just one trip they traveled to the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, and the Painted Desert, ate cactus jelly, and went to Norman, TX to find rose rocks. Grace spent many years traveling between in Florida and Brocton. In their younger years, Grace and her husband, Don, enjoyed riding motorcycles. She made friends easily and was always full of joy. She loved being with her family and many friends. She was definitely a go-getter. She had a "do it yourself" attitude and worked hard.  Above all, she was a lovely, vibrant and caring person. Grace is survived by: three daughters: Karen Franklin, of St. Louis, MO., Dawn (Steven) Dziduch of Oxford MS. and Kristine (Tony) Kaminsky of Kenmore, NY; grandmother of Damien Kaminsky, Tina Dziduch, Steve Dziduch, Tonja (Rich) G’Sell and Jay (Cynthia) Franklin; great-grandchildren: Morgan Kreutzman, Madelyn G’Sell, Teagan and Kennedy Franklin; her brother, Rev. Charles Peck of FL and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Alfred and Blossom Peck, her husband, Donald Juul, Grace is predeceased by her siblings: Edgar Peck, Gert Brehm, Rose Erickson and Celia Gammon. A memorial service will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, NY on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 10 am. Flowers gratefully declined.
