Obituary for Josie Mae Adams
Josie Mae Adams, 65, of Dunkirk, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday December 1, 2022 at home. She was born July 1, 1957 in Foley, Alabama to Essex and Lucy Mae (Lee) Casey.
Josie is survived by: three daughters: Victoria (Jerrell) Thornton, Tameika Hood and Pebbles (Byron) Adams-Hill; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: three siblings: Edward Casey, Walter Casey and Jerry Casey; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and longtime loving companion, Lonnie Johnson. Besides her parents, Josie is predeceased by: her son, Michael Adams Sr.; and 5 siblings: Willie Yeldon, Ethel Gilchrist, Vivian Norwood, Joseph Casey and William Casey.
