Obituary for Malcolm ""Mal"" Miller

Malcolm “Mal” Miller passed away at the age of 71 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY on August 27, 2022. Mal was born on September 24, 1950, in Fredonia, NY.

Beloved husband of 42 years to Kathleen (Grago) Miller. “Mal” as he was affectionately known, was the son of the late Malcolm & Eleanor Miller of Fredonia, NY. Cherished brother of Craig (Rose) Miller of Brockton, NY, and the late Darryl (Mary) Miller; Also survived by: stepsons: Michael (Lora) Insogna, David Insogna, and Ronald (Barbara) Insogna; loving Grandfather to Grandsons: Alexander, Jason & Andrew, and Granddaughters: Jessica and Lauren: Uncle to: Jessica and Anthony. Also survived by his faithful dog, Mystery.

Mal attended Jamestown Community College, receiving an associate degree. Retiring from the United States Air Force after serving for 22 years. After retiring from the military, he worked at Walmart Distribution Center in Marcy, NY.

Mal was an avid Nascar enthusiast and loved to watch the Buffalo Sabre’s. He spent countless hours making hundreds of model cars. Gardening & grilling was a passion of Mal’s. He adored and spoiled several dogs in his life.

Friends and family may call on Saturday September 3, 2022, from 10am-11am at LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia NY 14063, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11am. Military Honors, accorded by the Dunkirk Joint Veterans Council, will be held at the funeral home after the service. A Christian burial will be held at Willowbrook Cemetery.
