Wilda B. “Boo” Rowland (Haag), 94, of Fredonia, N.Y. , passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 at the Heritage Village Nursing & Skilled Nursing facility in Gerry. Boo was born in Warren Pa. on July 28, 1927. She was grew up in Warren, and graduated from Warren High School. “Boo”, with her husband Dr. J. Carter Rowland, raised their family in Erie, PA. She spent the remainder of her life in Fredonia, N.Y. “Boo” owned and operated the Luweibdeh Shop of 35 years. She enjoyed her hats, entertaining and family.

She was the loving mother of: Mark (Peg) Rowland, Cynthia (Mario) Vento, Kirk Rowland and Lisa (Mike) Zwart; she was “Nana Boo” to nine grandchildren and great grandmother to six.
“Boo” is predeceased by her husband of 75 years, Dr. J. Carter Rowland, who passed away January 26, 2021. “Boo” will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 19, 2022 at Holy Trinity Church, Dunkirk, N.Y. at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations made in her memory to Heritage Ministries, Heritage Ministries Developmental Office, 4600 Rte. 60, Gerry, N.Y. 14740 or Holy Trinity Church, 1032 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, N.Y. 14048.
