Obituary for William "Bill" Danielson

William “Bill” Charles Danielson, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 29, 2023 at the age of eighty. He was predeceased by: his parents. Edith and Raymond Danielson and spouse, Nancy Ann Battaglia. He leaves behind his daughter, Andrea Marie White and son-in-law, Jacob White; two grandchildren, Basil and Cora; and his girlfriend of four years, Linda Gens.

Bill Danielson was a fun loving and sweet guy who always had a story to tell. He will be remembered as an amazing storyteller, practical jokester and, of course, limousine driver to the stars. The amount of times Bill would casually mention that he drove Michael Jackson, Cher David Bowie and countless other celebrities, is far too many to count. He loved to impress any stranger with his unbelievable (but mostly true) stories of driving celebrities in Los Angeles in the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. He absolutely loved to drive and would find any opportunity to help a friend in need get somewhere. Bill also served in the Navy and was a Morse code specialist. After his navy service, Bill owned and operated many different restaurant establishments until finding his true passion as a limousine driver/owner. Later, he drove semi-trucks all around the country.   Bill loved animals, especially dogs, so in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Chautauqua County Humane Society (chqhumane.org) in his honor.  A memorial service will take place on Saturday May 13, 2023 at Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson St., Fredonia, NY at 2 pm. On-line condolences may be made at larsontimkofuneralhome.com. Arrangements by David J. Dengler, LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home.
